The New Hot spot in Auburn

Updated: Apr 26, 2023

Today I will be sharing about the new restaurant that has joined the community. We are so proud of all of the businesses that have sprouted life into the town. The downtown scenes of Opelika are booming, but take a chance to step into a dreamy garden off the railroad tracks. Botanic opened in early August, and we had the honor to experience everything they had to offer. Botanic includes three different dining rooms with all of them offering a different menu option. The grille is a dinner or brunch-style option perfect for welcoming friends and family into town. If you are looking for a more casual bite you can find yourself enjoying pastries and coffee from the market room. The outdoor patio bar was a pleasant surprise including a full bar and entertainment stage. You can be sure to enjoy a night on the town with live music and local beer on tap in the outdoor area. Botanic has made it important to include local businesses and artists within their establishment. They not only offer local beer but you can also find beautiful art in their shop from local artists. A special feature that Botanic has is their garden shop. Here you can find home decor or even new tools for gardening. It doesn’t stop there, however, if you are looking to add some greenery to your home. This is the place to be. The Botanic team is able to assist you with all things gardening. Feel free to bring in your own pots and pick out new plants to take home with you. In addition to the food and shop, you also have the opportunity to use Botanic as an event space. This venue has a greenhouse that would be perfect for any kind of occasion. Immediately stepping into the greenhouse space you are welcomed by beautiful ferns that hang from the ceiling and flagstone weaves a path to each guest table for the night. The owners of this incredible establishment are Auburn natives who have a passion for giving back to the community they call home. King and Stacy have owned several businesses in the area. One you might have heard of before is the great Chicken Salad Chick. On their website, they share how during Covid they discovered how important it is to create life experiences with one another. They are using Botanic to do just that. Their goal was to create a perfect place to reconnect with nature while also building relationships. If you have any questions or want to share your experience with us feel free to leave a comment. You can also contact Botanic through their website. I hope you get the opportunity to experience this for yourself and can’t wait to update you on exciting things happening in Opelika.
